NOVEMBER '11 - MAY '12 ï»¿  Hong Kong

Manchester has the worst weather in England, with rain, wind and cold temperatures making it not easy to street drum. No better way to heat ourselves up and entertain the crowd than through street drumming on Market Street!

JANUARY '13 ï»¿ Manchester, U.K

JUNE '13 ï»¿ Hull & London, U.K

Headed towards Kingston Upon Hull in the North of England. Spent three hours looking for enough trash, and were able to find an empty beer cannister and a bike to add to our collection. All afternoon spent near St Stephens, before heading towards the capital! First in the hipster Camden Town on a busy Sunday, and then next to the Thames and London Eye on South Bank!

OCT' - NOV '17 ï»¿ Luxembourg & Dhaka

The Drums 4 Slums initiative started to raise funds for the Rohingya minority fleeing violence in Myanmar to neighbouring Bangladesh. All funds were donated to the NGO Partners Relief and Development to supply the refugees with food, shelter, medicine. Additionally, we initialised a workshop at the Jaago Foundation in Dhaka for underprivileged children by teaching them how to play drums on trash they find in neighbouring slums. Not only did it help them become more confident and joyful, but also taught them how to play an instrument in a new creative way!

This is where it all started. Something that began as an idea to play drums on trash and waste that we find on streets, came out to be our weekend routine in the streets of Mong Kok. No other crowd loved it more, with children clapping along and smiling to every beat. No matter what, we have brought the beat to the street! Not only in the amount of money raised but also in the difference we made to the people around us! This experience will keep on pushing us to go further and to continue playing street drums around the world!
